 I have had the opportunity to live in numerous states and have loved different things about them all.  I love traveling and visiting all the beautiful areas of the United States.  I like to get a rental car and see it all by driving through all the different places.  Hiking is also another way I love to see the different landscapes the US has to offer two of my favorites are Arches National Park and Enchanted Rock Texas State Natural Area.

I was recently married in Oct 2009 and have loved learning to be better at some more domestic things like cooking and cleaning.  I love my Le Creuset Stoneware and using my Le Creuset Casserole Dishes to make some of our favorite foods.  I love spending time with my husband and playing with my cat.

We have become quite the nationwide movers since being married.  We are now living in Michigan, our 3rd state in about 5 months, but hopefully we won't be moving again for another few years. Now we are just figuring out if we have the money to hire piano movers to move our piano!  I'm not sure how I can live without it much longer.

I have a vast array of interests that include traveling, being outdoors, eating good food, cooking, sports, including volleyball, if you can't tell by my name, and enjoy playing the piano.  I also love books, TV and movies.  I love that they give you an opportunity to escape from our own world for just a little bit and get to see the world in someone else's eyes. I also love Texas BBQ and think you are missing out if you have never had authentic BBQ, it is amazing!

I'm starting to get excited for the holidays and even winter.  I love decorating for the holidays and can't wait to get a department 56 village, my favorites are the Department 56 Halloween village, Department 56 Dickens Series or the Colonial Williamsburg Village (keeping my fingers crossed this year).  I love writing and am enjoying getting a chance to write more often through hubpages.
